The Ruby Iyer Diaries by Lakshmi Hariharan  is excellent book to read .It is a book where every teenager can connect with Ruby's character .Her anxiousness  to save her city Bombay  from the demons and the frustrations to recognize who she really is that once had forced her to run away from her own sweet paradise (home ) is written  in an beautiful way by the author  .

Me thinks :Book is quiet a good read for all who are going  through a grave phase and to all those teenagers who  can recognize with MS RUBY IYER .

Meet the Author

She had an awesome time launching TV channels for MTV and NBCUniveral (Syfy) around the world, when a near death experience convinced Laxmi Hariharan that she had to get writing. A one-time journalist with The Independent, she has since published fast paced action thrillers with a dash of romance and a touch of the fantastical such as the multi award winning The Ruby Iyer Series. Featured among the top five women in media in India Today, she also blogs for the Huffington Post, has written for The Guardian and has been featured in many publications including The Times of India, The Economic Times, The Telegraph and Verve. The book reflects the other qualities  of human being like hope , wanting to survive and fear of losing love ones  other than  violence , hatred and etc.. other  negative qualities .Each Story has a powerful impact on us that makes us feel 'How Safe and Luck we are ?. 'The Dove 's Lament book  is  not  a  recommended read to all the week hearted  and sensitive people who can get nightmares and  will start crying  after reading it but to those tough people  with a golden heart .

Kirthi Jayakumar is a Lawyer, specialised in Public International Law and Human Rights. She has diversified into Research and Writing in Public International Law, Arbitration and Human Rights, besides Freelance Journalism. Working as a UN Volunteer, specializing in Human Rights issues in Africa, India and Central Asia and the Middle East, Kirthi has worked extensively with grass root organizations that focus on women's rights, and also run a journal, academy and consultancy that focuses on International Law, called A38. Kirthi is also the founder of the Red Elephant Foundation, an organisation that works for the empowerment of women.

This book is a collection of three novellas a. House of love

b. Arranged Marriage and c. Love Tango into one Called ' Mr Imperfect Series (Complete Collection)'.
All three female protagonists Nikki, Sonali and Maya are unique and inspiring. We should learn from them the art of loving imperfect guys who will make the world look beautiful in their own style which will quiet amazing to see.

The emotions like freedom, apprehension, trust and faith in love of the three female's protagonists Nikki, Sonali and Maya are careful crafted in a realistic way.
The anxiety, curiosity and helplessness of Karan, Ishan and Tahir are depicted in a really cool and awesome way.

The Book is all about 3 different people meetings their Mr. Imperfect soul mates.

My Analysis is that the book is quiet an enjoyable read during vacations.

Maya accepting Tahir proposal could have been stretched a little more.

It is highly recommended read for all the book lovers

Nilanjana sighed. She wasn’t even sure if the child would be a boy. But she wouldn’t risk the merest flagging of her mistress’ spirits. She administered some herbal pain relievers to the queen and bided her time. Ideally, the doctor wanted the birth to take place before midday. The royal astrologer had warned her that if the child was born later, he would suffer great hardships throughout his life. On the other hand, if the child was born before the sun reached its zenith, he would be remembered as one of the greatest among men and would be celebrated for millennia.

Nilanjana cast a quick glance at the prahar lamp, which measured time in six-hour intervals. The sun had already risen and it was the third hour of the second prahar. In another three hours it would be midday. Nilanjana had decided to wait till a half hour before noon and, if the baby was still not born,

she would go ahead with the surgery.

 Kaushalya was stricken with another bout of dilatory pain. She pursed her lips together and began chanting in her mind the name she had chosen for her child. This gave her strength for it wasn’t an ordinary name. The name she had picked was that of the sixth Vishnu.

 ‘Vishnu’ was a title given to the greatest of leaders who were remembered as the Propagators of Good. The sixth man to have achieved this title was Lord Parshu Ram. That is how he was remembered by the common folk. Parshu means axe, and the word had been added to the name of the sixth Vishnu because the mighty battle axe had been his favourite weapon. His birth name was Ram. That was the name that reverberated in Kaushalya’s mind.

I received this book as a review copy from the author .Thank you The Book Club and Rubina Ramesh for the same. Delirium is excellent book to read .The book is based upon cricket, intake of drugs and journalist who tries to expose them. It is mixture of steamy affair, high octane drama and nail biting suspense. When you read this hair rising book you would not feel like getting up from your place.

The emotions of

·    Anju ---------The journalist.

·   Avinash Katagi --------the national hero and vice captain of Indian Cricket Team.

·   Ratan----a Senior Cricketer and The captain of Indian Cricket Team.

·  And others are described in an enchanting and   eloquent way.

Sowmya Aji has written this book in a very beautiful way. The situations and action packed drama are penned in a fantastic way. This mixture of steamy affair, high octane drama and suspense are proportionally divided .There is no dull moment while reading this book. The pace of story is normal.

Sowmya Aji has described the BCCI's attitude towards the issues like drugs addiction and the intake of steroid by some players of the Indian Cricket Team in an outright manner.

I like the way Anju finally helps him in her way. This book is highly recommended read to all

Meet the Author

I love day-dreaming and my close friends in this endless activity include Hamlet, Howard Roark, Absolem, Miss Marple, Elizabeth Bennett, Katniss Everdeen, Holly Short, Sirus Black, Gimli and Septimus Heap.. occasionally, Saphira also :) Otherwise, I am a serious hard-nosed print journalist who writes about politics, social issues and culture..
I've spent most of my life reading and writing.. I also love movies, dance, theatre, music, trekking, yoga.. I tried my hand at Russian and French and remember Rooski Izink Nimnoga and je sais un peu de Francaise .. (I bet I got that wrong).. but the latest language I picked up, Spanish, is very close to my heart, as I want to read Gabriel Garcia Marquez's yellow butterflies in Espanol.. I speak, read and write three Indian languages -- Kannada, Hindi, Tamil .. and my masters is in English, so I obviously love language and communication..
I also love knitting and I hate cooking :) I'm trying very hard to be good at a new job -- parenting -- to my three-year-old, but boy, is that the toughest job!
