I received the book 'The Mystery of Missing
Iguana' as a review copy from the author .Thank you The Book Club, Rubina
Ramesh and Ruchira Khanna for the same.
Firstly I would like thank Ruchira for
writing such a wonderful story that reminds of two yesteryears detective serials1.Raja
and Rancho -Shekar Suman starrer and 2.The adventures of Tin -Tin. These two are detective based serials that had animals in it .In one serial there was a talking Monkey called 'Rancho' and in
another serial there was dog called 'Snowy'
.Both of them were loyal to their servants. These serial many of us might have seen
and enjoyed.
This book also reminds me of Enid Blyton's
secret seven book series. The Mystery of Missing Iguana is a wonderful that has
a very small and simple storyline .The illustration in this book looks awesome and
mesmerizing.
The Mystery of Missing Iguana is a very
well designed and crafted book by Ruchira Khanna. The author has very well narrated
the story by keeping the span of attention of the kids between 2-10years in her
mind .I loved reading it. Thanks author for writing such a wonderful story. It
is my pleasure to read such kind of children's book after a very long time. It
is a 30mins read. A refreshing read. Perfect gift for all the kiddos.
