ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Shoma got hooked onto reading when she was a kid, pestering her parents for new books every day, and borrowing from neighbors when they refused. At that time, the thought of writing one herself never entered her head – she was convinced she wanted to be a teacher when she grew up. When she was a little older, she decided to become an engineer instead, and took a degree in electronics and telecommunications.
Then she thought a career in management was probably a better bet, and went off to do an MBA. That's a decision she's never regretted because she met her husband in the first year of B-school – fifteen years later, they're married, with two adorable kids whom they are raising with the same careful attention to detail that they gave their second-year project on organizational behaviour.
A couple of years ago, Shoma took up writing as a hobby (after successively trying her hand at baking, sewing, knitting, crochet and patchwork), and was amazed at how much she enjoyed it. A short story she wrote won first prize in a competition run by DNA's 'Me' magazine, and another made it to a short story collection called 'Urban Shots' – hugely encouraged by this, she decided to take up writing seriously. Then she saw an ad for the Mills and Boon Passions contest that said that Harlequin (M&B )was looking out for Indian authors, and her first thought was 'Wow, that's something I want to do!' She spent the weekend writing a story about two lovers separated in college, and submitted it. The next thing she knew, she was one of the three winners of the contest, and was working on a full-length book – and the book became the first Mills and Boon book by an Indian author to be released globally.
Now she's just completed her fifth romance novel,Its complex is Sixth Romance fiction work with Rupa publication

Its's Complex is sweet tale between Jai and Nikita who are totally different from each other in all respects .Jai an aspiring scriptwriter and Nikita ,the consummate modern working woman who live in the same high rise building in Mumbai..One night two have dramatic encounter where Jai rescues Nikita from near fatal accident and then offer to moonlight as her driver . Thus beings a tempestuous romance which has many unexpected twists and turns .Jai who desperate to have break in Bollywood enters a love story contest under Nikita's name .Will this rash act on his will lead to nasty break or will the two fall in love and discover each other .Lets find out how this young couple navigate their complicated romance with many colorful people around them

WHAT I LIKE ABOUT THIS BOOK WAS THE WAY IN WHICH AUTHOR SHOMA NARAYANAN HAS DESCRIBED THE PEOPLE AND SITUATION WITH EASE IT FEELS REAL AND AS IF WE ARE ALSO PRESENT THERE
The tittle of the book and cover photo is quiet Catchy and Attractive. The characters are described very well .The emotions of the characters when their put in different situation are carefully weaved and well portrayed .The dialogues are simple,crisp and sweet .
Equally Importance is given to all the supporting characters like Anuj,Shilpa,Sandeep,Rakhi,Saloni,Saria ,Suraj,Vikrant ,Naveen and Madhuri
I liked kid Suraj character the most and title of synopsis
